At Zuyd Cycling Team, we encourage the passion for cycling at all ages and levels. In cycling, a distinction is made between different age categories for young athletes. The novice category is an important part of this. Novices are boys and girls who turn 15 or 16 this year.

For newcomers, this is the age where they begin riding longer distances and more serious races, both nationally and sometimes internationally. It is a key period for technical refinement, building endurance, and deepening strategic insight into the sport.

At our club, we support our newcomers with training sessions, races, and events designed to stimulate their development as cyclists.
